Connie
Connie has very strong opinions about soda. So much so, to most of her followers on instagram she is simply known as the "drink review girl". To many, it is suprising to learn she's actually a very passionate animator too and is a huge nerd for 3D animation using the kickass opensource software Blender.
Spencer
Spencer grew up in Dunedin where he performed alongside NZ songstress Nadia Reid in the 2008 Kings and Queens highschool production of Les Miserables. Since then he went to artschool, played in bands and mastered the sourdough baguette. He's currently an animation director and loves making music videos.
Chris
Chris studied architectural technologies and is well versed in CAD, 3D printing and hard surface modelling in blender. He also teaches video game courses in Ōtepoti. Lately he's been animating 3D animals.
Lewis
Lewis is a Wellington-based animator and story artist whose current five-year goal is to see how long his body can survive mold exposure. Inspired by obscure tape-loop albums, obscure foreign films, and obscure local people, he works as a 2D animator by day and runs his own art group “Story Club” in the evenings.
Magda
Born in a nest in the mountains of Poland, Magda has been a 2D animator since they first hatched from the egg. They have a knack for making any form of Animation , Illustration or Sculpture. It is their life mission to single-handedly bring back the look of 2001 Cartoon Network.
Gavin
Raised in the mean streets of Ōtepoti, Gavin has earnt himself a reputation in computer graphics and video art. He's particularly interested in running education workshops on these fields, reaching those rangatahi and anyone else who wants to learn this interesting medium.
Willow
Willow graduated the tartarus-esque horrors of growing up in Gore with a doctoral degree in all things one should lament. Since then, she has been scribbling away her woes; with a specialty in concept art, album artwork, logos & character design; sporadically forcing as many different ideas into one exhausted drawing as possible.
Fraser
Fraser is a recovering ex-musician, skilled Interactive CD-ROM author, Certified MS-DOS Operator, exhibited artist and never-hurts-to-help digital technician. Currently working on an 'alternative timeline' suite of free gfx tools over @ aderpy.com. Fraser puts the hyper in hypertext.
Matthew
Matthew is a 3D animator and modeller. The biggest project he's created is "Bark and Bone", a solo 3D short film, to which he sold a third of his soul to bring to life. The leftovers of his soul enables him to now do art for games, 3D asset creation and optimisation, and 3D animation. He uses Blender, Procreate and Unreal Engine..
Jack
Jack is a Gizzy born quasi-aquatic jam enjoyer (both the spread and the tunes) and also happens to be one of Megahonk's latest interns. He’s a Jack of a couple of trades but currently a master of none (currently in progress at VUW). He’s an illustrator, pixel animator, caffeine fiend, comic artist and has the inextricable ability to always laugh at his own jokes.
Renee
Renee, originally from the dreaded Palmerston North, holds a degree in Film and Animation and recently completed a Master’s in Design Technology in Miramar. She is a CG generalist with experience in 2D and 3D, primarily using Houdini, Blender and Clip Studio Paint. She brings a positive attitude and strong passion to every project and is always keen to get involved!
Finn
Finn is a colony of 35947 hermit crabs in a comfy jumper and glasses. A lot of their time is spent doing anything other than studying architecture, such as making puppets and watching movies their parents wouldn't approve of. Their diet consists of tuna melts, Night 'n Day thickshakes and chicken tacos. If they ever get around to using Substack you can probably find them there.
Skip
Skip Ganderson is a crocheted goose we rescued from a skip in Stratford. He peers out through the window of our office and is usually the first thing people see when they visit.
Let us animate some stuff for you!
